Family updates and prayer requests

Good News
Today, Samuel began to crawl. He is 7 months old, and finding his way around the camper quite nicely. You can check our Youtube channel for more videos.

Naomi is doing well learning her letters and is getting pretty good at remembering the older children's spelling words. Naomi's favorite word is "Missionary", but Daddy enjoys watching her spell "Monsoon" as she pronounces her "O"'s so cute.

Virginia is getting taller by the day, we think. She has enjoyed being at Grandma and Grandpa Allan's house in Thomaston, Maine. Virginia was baptized just over a week ago. See the Youtube Channel for related videos.
Nathaniel has been mowing the lawn, driving the golf cart around the property to do chores, and has also enjoyed his times like last weekend with friends near his age. This past weekend
, Nathaniel enjoyed throwing knives and hatchets (at targets, not people) volleyball and studying God's Word with his good friend Devon.

Sara has been busy with our travel, ministry, doctor visits, and the many other things she has to do in the course of a day. Sara has also found many ministry and fellowship opportunities with the Christian families in the area. We are also happy to have SaraGrace Hinton nearby, and have enjoyed visits with her.

Mark has been working on more ministry plans upcoming, enjoying prayer groups with men from the area, and preaching and teaching in the jails and in other settings as opportunities come. Mark is glad to have Justin back in Maine to help with these ministries, and also has been blessed immensely by brothers from many area churches that get together to pray, study the Bible, and encourage one another.

Not so good news
Mark's back is still a pretty big source of complication for us as a family. He has had an MRI recently which has shown degenerative disc disease in his lower and mid back. While this is a source of pain and limits workload as far as physical labor, Mark is still able to perform all the aspects of ministry that the Lord has given him to do. The good news of the bad news is that this is something we can work with, and hopefully reverse over time. We praise God for this diagnosis, as things could be much worse. God has given grace in all things, and has provided for our needs time and time again. God is faithful to provide strength and grace for each day as we seek to serve Him more effectively. To God be all the glory for the great things He has done.

Pray with us:
Pray for discernment as we consider a few opportunities for upcoming ministry
Pray for patience and strength as Mark's back heals
Pray for wisdom as we raise our children in God's ways
Pray for peace to wait on the Lord's timing in all things
