Gonna need a bigger van

Well, it's official. We need a bigger van. Our household is now 8 people, and that doesn't fit in the mini van. We have a truck that seats 6, a minivan that seats 7, 1 driver, and we need some direction. We are not going to go out and buy a larger van tomorrow, but as things progress, we will need to find another way to get where we are going. We have been praying about what to do about a vehicle for some time now and decided recently to get our minivan fixed. It had some serious brake issues and some other minor problems to get fixed. We got the call today that it was all done. Now we have put quite a bit of money into the van and it isn't big enough for the family. ARGHH!
So, keep us in prayer that God will show us what to do. We could easily rush in and get a loan for a new van, but I don't believe God is leading us to go into debt. We spent all our cash on getting the van fixed, and I haven't worked in 3 weeks, with no more work for a week or two at least.
It is times like this, when we feel so out of control that we need to remember that we are not IN control. God tells us that He will supply all our needs, not our wants or desires. Since our only real need is salvation, I have nothing to complain about. We are blessed with a great marriage, wonderful children, the opportunity to help children in hard times, a home that is warm and stocked with plenty of food. I feel kind of selfish posting about the desire for a van, but I want to be honest about what is on my mind.
We just need to pray that we have patience and vision to see how God is working in our lives. He has given us far more than we deserve. We praise Him for all He has done for us.

Blessed beyond measure
Mark
